Who is responsible for providing WPS training?

The employer or supervisor has the responsibility for providing Worker Protection Standard (WPS) training. This training is mandated to ensure that employees are adequately informed about the safety and health risks associated with agricultural pesticides. As part of their obligations, employers must ensure that all workers receive proper training that meets the regulatory requirements set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
